Sometimes a project comes along that is an absolute treat to take on. This dashboard UI for the Ronin Dojo Bitcoin node management software was one of them.

Objective
Create a node management interface that is as clean and intuitive as the top competitor in the space, Umbrel. However, wrap it in an edgy Japanese cyber-punk aesthetic.
Unique Challenges
Learn from the best, but make it better.
Less than a handful of solutions dominate this space, with Umbrel in the clear lead due to their uncompromising approach to usability. Fully embracing this philosophy was Ronin’s mandate.
Capture the Ronin brand’s tone and attitude.
Bitcoiners are rebels and revolutionaries. Where other options in the space are going with a soft minimalist feel, Ronin wanted to capture the spirit of it’s cypher-punk origins with a cyber-punk edge.
Think mobile first, where others aren’t.
Node management is typically a browser-based activity. However, Ronin’s hardware is designed to be accessed from anywhere. Their UI was designed to not only accommodate that, but put it first.
